DELANA VISITS CMT RADIO

DeLana Stevens stopped by the CMT Radio Studios in downtown Nashville, to record a live version of her current single, Good Enough For Me. The just released single debuted in the Country Aircheck Activator Chart this week at 57*. Darrel Young, DeLana’s producer accompanied her on acoustic guitar. The single is from her CD, Welcome to My World.

DELANA STEVENS TO PERFORM AT ENTERPRISE HIGH SCHOOL BENEFIT CONCERT

Nashville, TN (April 10, 2007) – Mach One / Spinville Records recording artist DeLana Stevens is set to perform at a benefit concert in Alabama to help raise money for the Enterprise High School Relief Fund.

On March 1st, 2007 a tornado ripped though Enterprise, AL destroying the high school and killing 8 of its students. The Enterprise Relief Fund was started by a group of citizens whose mission it is to rebuild for the community, by the community. They are holding several fund raisers including an auction and a benefit concert.

“Like everyone else, I was in total shock watching the footage on the news and it completely broke my heart seeing what happened to those in the high school as well as the entire town. I spent some time in southern Alabama on the radio tour just a few months prior to the storms and met nothing but kind, hard working people. When my record label got the call about the benefit show, I jumped at the chance to be part of it. Any small thing you can do at a time like this to help, you try to do,” stated Stevens. DeLana is scheduled to perform at 6:00PM.

DeLana Stevens opens for Craig Morgan

Mach One / Spinville Records recording artist DeLana Stevens will be opening for Craig Morgan on March 15th, 2007 in Bay City, Michigan. Stevens who released her debut album Welcome To My World in January just released her third single Good Enough for Me, to radio.

Good Enough for Me is pretty autobiographical, stated Stevens. Its about growing up in a small town and wanting more than dirt roads and small town life. But once you get to "the big city" realizing that it isn't always what you thought it would be, and missing the security and simplicity of a small town...I think everyone has had a point in their lives where they thought the grass may be greener on the other side, only to realize it's not at all what they thought it would be.

Stevens, who will be embarking on her first National tour later this year, will be performing both shows with Morgan in Bay City, the 7:00PM and the 9:30PM show. Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased at the Bay City State Theatre website.

DeLanas first video for her single Say Hello to Heaven that was released in 2006 continues to be one of the Top 5 Requested Videos on the Gospel Music Channel in their country category competing with artists such as Rascal Flatts and Johnny Cash. STEVENS MAKES PAGE ONE: Basin, Wyoming Proud of Hometown Girl

Mach One / Spinville Records recording artist DeLana Stevens was privileged to grace the front page of her hometown newspaper earlier this month. Stevens sat down with the Basin Republican Rustlers editor Lori Newman to discuss her album, Welcome To My World, as well as her time spent growing up in Basin, WY.

Stevens released her debut album, Welcome To My World in January of 2007. Newman wrote, DeLanas voice contains a smoky edginess that turns salty, sad, sassy or soulful, as the lyrics require. Some of her songs have the flavor of traditional country, while others are more cutting edge.

Good Enough for Me, Stevens third single off of her debut album will hit radio in early March. It is a tale about leaving a one-stop-light, one horse town and striking out for New York or L.A. in search of a better place for a better life only to discover those bright lights grow mighty dim after a while, wrote Newman. This isnt far fetched from Stevens real life story, I was 13 years old when I moved out here (Nashville), and I thought I was going to take the country music industry by storm. Then six months to a year goes by and you realize thats not the way it works, stated Stevens.

Stevens spent 2006 visiting radio stations and performing live; traveling by car across the US. Her efforts in support of title track single, Welcome to My World and its follow up single/video Say Hello To Heaven, paid off. DeLanas Say Hello To Heaven video, which Stevens filmed with Nashvilles Vintage Flick Productions, was seen by millions on CMT.com and GAC TVs On Demand. The video also aired on the Gospel Music Channel where it placed in the Top 5 Requested Videos with its heartfelt message addressing the pain of loosing a family member to a drunk driver and the courage to forgive.

Stevens is set to embark on her first National tour following the release of her third single, Good Enough for Me.

Mach One / Spinville Records recording artist DeLana Stevens will be making her Nashville television debut on December 28th 2006 on Nashvilles Tennessee Mornings, the AM show on Fox 17 WZTV. Stevens will be performing her current singe Say Hello to Heaven as well as hanging out and talking to the Tennessee Mornings hosts Charlie Chase and Kelly Sutton. Fox News airs beginning at 6:00AM with DeLanas performance at 7:30 AM. .

Say Hello to Heaven is the current single off of Stevens debut album Welcome To My World due out January 23rd, 2007. DeLana will be touring in support of her album Welcome To My World in 2007.

   
   
10-11-06 ALBUM RELEASE DATE!!!!!

I have been informed by my record label that the album online release date will be tuesday, October 31. The album/CD will be available for purchase through my website www.delanastevens.com and there should also be a link on myspace for it as well. The store release will follow sometime after the online release. I am very excited to finaly have a release date and even more excited that everyone that has been asking when they can buy a CD will now be able to get their hands on one. I am extemely proud of this record and can't wait for everyone to hear it. Thanks to all of you for your continued support and for all of those calls to your local radio stations requesting "Say Hello To Heaven". As I mentioned in the last blog, it means so much to me when we go into these radio stations to visit and they mention how many requests they receive for it. Thank you all very much!! 9-5-06 I will be heading up the east coast next weeks on the radio tour with stops in Me., NH., MA., NY., and DC. It will be a very busy month. As soon as the east coast is finished, I will be heading back out west to cover the northwest including northern California, oregon, and Washington. The video for Say Hello To Heaven is in it's final edit and shoul be released very soon to CMT, GAC, and other video outlets. I love how the video turned out and expect the final version to be great. There will also be an announcement made in the next few weeks about the release date for the album so stay tuned for that. As always, thank you all very much for your continued support. I had two program directors at radio stations in the midwest last week tell me how many calls on a daily basis they receive requesting Say Hello To Heaven and words can't explain how much that means to me. Thank each and every one of you for that.

8-29-06 DeLana just got back home from a week long trip to the midwest on her radio tour to promote the second single "Say hello To Heaven". DeLana reports, "we covered 17 stations, 7 states, and over 3500 miles in the past week and the trip went great. We already have some of those stations on board with adds and others who are comiited to adding it as soon as they have room on their playlists.
   
8-2-06 After being rained out saturday, we shot all day on Sunday for the Say Hello To Heaven video. 95 in the shade and 85% humidity but the crew, actors, and director were awesome!! We shot the "bar scene" at Double E on monday night and that was special to me because we got to do it at a club I have been playing at for the past three years while "paying my dues". The owners and staff at Double E are great folks and true friends and were more than happy to let us film there. We also got to use some of my friends in that scene that have supported me for a long time so that made it even better. I'm told that we will have a rough edit to view in the next week or so and the final video in a couple of weeks. I will be heading back out on the road very soon to continue the radio tour and promote Say Hello To Heaven. I want to thank everyone again for the continued support. It means more to me then you could ever imagine. I have been working toward this goal most of my life and to have so many of you tell me how much my music has touched you means the world to me.God Bless!

DeLana is back in Nashville after a month on the west coast as part of the radio tour promoting the first single Welcome To My World.

While in town she will be shooting the video for the 2nd single Say Hello To Heaven that will be released in early August!

Mach One Records is joining up with Spinville Records on DeLana's album! Stay tuned to the site for more new on this!

The west coast leg of the radio tour beginning June 12 and lasting about three weeks, and covering California, Arizona, Nevada, utah, and Colorado. Also, the single "Welcome To My World" hit new and active on the R&R Indicator country chart!

Wow!!! It has been a wild couple of months. I've been doing the radio tour thing, and have been having a blast.Though it hasn't left me much time to let everyone know what I've been up to. I can't thank all of these stations enough for having me in and letting me introduce them to my kind of country music. They all have been so receptive and so warm, they will never be able to know how much that is appreciated. Country radio and the Fans, that is where it all starts. You can check out all the pics form the road in the media section.

The album is completely finished and do out later this month. I can not wait to be able to start touring and be able to meet everyone who has been calling their stations and requesting that they play "Welcome to My World."

I also have a new forum up & would love to hear everyone's thoughts. Thanks again for all the support and prayers.

1-20-06 A Message from DeLana

"Welcome To My World" will be the first single from my debut album and it goes to radio on February 6.

We just finished mixing and mastering it this week and you can hear it now on the website and at myspace.com/delanastevens. The record label has also been kind enough to let us put a few more songs up on the site that will be on the album. I can't tell you how grateful I am that MachOne has enough belief in me as a writer to allow one of my songs to be released as the first single. They have loved Welcome to my world from the beginning and as a songwriter; it feels wonderful to have a song you write touch so many people.

Every email I get from you guys telling me how much one of my songs have touched or helped you in some way means so much to me. I hope God allows me to write songs that do that for a long time. I haven't had much time to post on here since we started recording but while I had time today, I just wanted to to touch base and fill everyone in on everything that has been going on. If you can call your local radio stations on or after February 6 and request Welcome to my world it would be a HUGE help. Thank you all so much for your support, well wishes and kind words you have shared.

Plans are in the works now for touring to begin in late spring or early summer after we finish a radio tour and I can't wait to hit the road and get a chance to meet as many of you as I can. I hope you all have a great weekend. God Bless

1-9-06 Big news!! We have been informed by MachOne Records that DeLana's first single will be "Welcome To My World" which DeLana and producer Darrell Young co-wrote.

The single should be released to radio in early february. We will let you know the exact date when we get it so you can request it in your area.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend it with their family and friends. DeLana is back in the studio and nearing completion on many of the songs. Many of you have asked if any of the songs that DeLana has had on myspace and music.download.com would make it on the album and we have been told that some will definitely make the cut. We can't say which ones just yet but we think most of you will very pleased. Stay tuned for news as we get it.

12-15-05 DeLana is two weeks into recording her debut album and the time in the studio has been very productive. All rhythm tracks were recorded last week at The Sound Kitchen in Franklin, TN. and she is now recording vocals at a studio close to music row. Jonathan Yudkin (fiddle, banjo, mandolin) and Paul Franklin (steele, lap steele, dobro) have recorded most of the utility instruments and managed to leave DeLana somewhat in awe.

"When I thought about the fact that these two guys have played and recorded with artists from Jerry Reed and Dire Straits up to current artists like Wynonna, Gretchen Wilson and over half of the artists in country music, I had to pinch myself a couple of times and tell myself they were really recording on my album. What made it even more special for me was that they were two of the nicest people I have ever met.

The tracks they put down have really added a new dimension to all of the songs and I can't wait for everyone to hear them". Keep checking the media section for new photos from the studio. We should have them up in a couple of days.

Pre production for DeLana's album is close to wrapping up and we now have an official date for entering the studio. Delana will begin recording on December 5 and will likely be in the studio most of December and January.

We have also been told that at least, seven songs that DeLana is a writer on will be recorded for possible inclusion on the album. For those of you that have sent emails concerned as if DeLana would get to record her own songs, this is great news!!

MachOne Records has shown a lot of excitement in DeLana's writing skills from the very beginning and seem to be very impressed with the new material that her and Darrell Young have been writing. We hope to get updates from the studio once recording begins and of course, when we do will post it here.
 
10-25-05 Thanks to everyone who have sent emails wanting to be part of DeLana's street team. DeLana has always had a deep appreciation for her fans and has expressed how much it means to have so many of you wanting to help promote and spread her music.

When the time gets closer to a single being released to radio (sometime in early 2006) and a video released to CMT and GAC, we will let you know so you can begin requesting it. Thanks for all of your support.
 
10-11-05 It's been a wile since we posted anything new in the news section because DeLana has been in pre production getting ready to go into the studio. Things are going great so far and everything is still on track to begin recording in early December. Keep checking the news section and we will make updates as soon as we have anything new.
 
09-15-05 DeLana has been staying busy continuing to write new songs for her debut album and pre production is still slated to begin in October.

All indications are that the record label is very impressed with the songs that DeLana and co-writer and producer Darrell Young have been writing and recording demos of.

The song selection is still unofficial but there seems to be a strong possibility that several of DeLana's songs with be included on the album. As always, we will keep you posted as new news becomes available.
 
08-17-05 It's official!!

DeLana has signed a recording contract with MachOne Records and initial plans are to spend October and November in pre production and begin recording her debut album in early December.

The first radio and video single will likely be released in early 2006. Check the news section here on the site often and we will keep you updated as new info becomes available.
